Nightwatch Program APRIL 8 2002 Academy grade four, five and six students enjoyed an overnight stay at the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic in April. The museum program was introduced this year to provide senior elementary students with a "hands on experience" into Nova Scotian Nautical History. the students were guided through a series of exciting workshops involving Morse code, navigation sea rescues, ghost stories and folklore. Museum staff provided the children with facinating background into life at sea during our province's early history. The "Bedford Academy Crew" spent the night in the museum loft saftly bundled in sleeping bags under the watchful eyes of thier chaparones. The program recieved rave reviews from all members of teh group and will no doubt become an annual event for the Academy senior elementary grades.
