The children of the Academy were treated to a visit from a true "Tall Ship" Captain.

Captain Donnie Crowe dropped anchor and came ashore to share stories of the deep blue sea with the assembled students. Captain Crowe invited the children to come to the Halifax Waterfront in July to greet the crews who will be laying ho with some shore leave to meet visitors and dignitaries alike.

The children were quite taken with Captain Crowe's performance and provided him with a very rousing Bedford Academy welcome.
