Bedford Academy Graduation Class

Bedford Academy students and parents came together in a very moving ceremony to celebrate the Academy's Graduating Class. This group of highly accomplished students represented the first class to graduate from the hallowed halls of Bedford Academy. In doing so, they took on an honoured place in the school's history. Valedictorians Olivia MacDonald and Katie Sumarah, shared their memories of special times gone by along with a very heart felt thanks to the Academy's teaching faculty. Junior High Head and Grade Nine teacher, Jeff Sangster was surprised with a touching tribute from the students with the planting of a king maple tree and placement of a memorial plaque in his honour. A particular note of sincere appreciation was extended to Director and Founder, Nancy Wallace, for creating the school within her own personal vision and building such a safe haven for students to learn and grow.

Countless tears of joy were shed, many pictures were taken and several kind words of congratulations were expressed throughout the evening. The Bedford Academy families joined proudly together to toast this educational milestone in the lives of these most deserving students:
